The Charm of our Culture

     


      Vigan City has a rich culture and history. Throughout the years, Biguenos have been preserving the culture through generations. The Solidarity Cultural Festival bring us one as we celebrate our unique practices. Our culture embody every Biguenos, that is why we have been unconsciously undertaking this traditions.

     The City Government of Vigan anchor this meaningful celebration. In line of the Solidarity Cultural Festival, activities were held during the whole month of September. Showcasing the different cultures being practice not only in the City of Vigan but also generally by all Ilocano blooded community. During the month of September, Biguenos have been rejoicing as they are being entertained in the activities. Actually, I was one of the Biguenos who made the whole crowd have those beautiful smiles, the Ilocos Sur National High School Chorale joined the Vocal Chorus and got to 2nd place. In that way, our talents are being the instrument in conserving the Ilocano culture. Truly, Vigan City is a wonderful place to fall in love to, with the great history, people, and of course the culture.

    I am a proud Bigueno. I continue to raise awareness to people that our culture is our charm that is why it is very important to preserve them and to be able to bring it in the future. This Solidarity Cultural Festival will always remind us the memoirs.

Last year was an immense breakdown for my family. My two grandparents passed away and we're still mourning. But it was a good year at least. I traveled to Thailand, I started debating, and I turned 17 which is cool. Despite of the dramas that happened in the year 2019, I was able to stand up. For some people who may know, I was never been fully healed. Yes, I won't deny that fact but I choose to be vigorous. Looking back to those moments of darkness was an epiphany that revamp my perspective in life. Values Month; beyond the barriers of values education

      This month, another tremendous event has been brought by the people behind the success of the Values Month Celebration. It is a time where students and teachers extend their learning experience through the activities prepared by the ESP Department and ESP Club.    In this case, the students will fully understand the significance of Values Education. Every school year at the month of November, we celebrate the Values Month and it is really a must to participate.  Values education  is teaching and  learning  about the ideals that a society deems important. REFLECTION

Another chapter has ended. Learning something new is very exciting and interesting. It may be be hard but i am sure that it'll be helpful and make things more beautiful if we applied what we have learned. This 3rd grading of ICT 10 is very hard. For me, it is hard to understand and learn how to put some designs in your own web page. You have to look every single detail of your work because it will not appear what you want to see in your page if you don't review your page twice or thrice. You may disappoint your self if it gone wrong and you have no choice, you have to edit it again and again until it will work. In this grading, it also taught me that you should have a better understanding. Also, patience and determination is also learned. It may seem hard but if you have these, you can make your work more better than what you expected.
